Maru Gete, MD, is conducting a clinical fellowship in Otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.
Maru’s fellowship is supported by ISEF and Israel’s Ministry of Health.
A surgeon by training, Maru will refine his skills in reconstructive head and neck surgery with cancer patients, as well as rhinology, sinus, and skull-based surgeries. He will also teach and conduct clinical research.
Upon completion, Maru intends to return to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
