“Science Builds the Nation” is ISEF’s ground-breaking partnership with Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office to train the next generation of scientists and engineers for Israel’s high-tech economy.
Israel's single greatest natural resource is the minds of its young people. Through its unique programs, ISEF opens the doors to higher education each year for more than 400 promising young Israelis from underserved and immigrant communities throughout Israel.
ISEF awards generous scholarships to over 400 deserving bachelors, masters, and Ph.D. students on 20 campuses throughout Israel. Fully 85% of ISEF undergrads are first-generation, with parents who didn’t go beyond high school.
ISEF’s work to develop Israel’s most precious resource – its human capital – even extends to top institutions like Harvard and Stanford, where ISEF’s select group of International Fellows pursue PhD and postdoctoral training with ISEF’s steady support.
This visionary fund is helping hundreds of at-risk Israeli teens to graduate from high school and qualify for college.
Some 200 youngsters from immigrant and underserved neighborhoods receive one-on-one tutoring and support, with a special emphasis on learning to love reading.
