ISEF AlumniNewsAdir Balali

Adir Balali, an ISEF graduate from Nahariya, is the only Israeli civil engineer working on the world’s largest tunnel project—the Brenner Tunnel–in Innsbruck, Austria. Thanks to ISEF’s all-encompassing support, Adir turned his dream into reality and earned his engineering degree from Israel’s famed Technion. He never imagined he would one day end up at the foot of the Alps, doing what he loves. The Brenner Tunnel Project consists of three tunnels forming the longest underground railway line in the world–about 64 km. The completed tunnel is expected to significantly shorten travel time.
