A special meeting was held at the presidential residence in Jerusalem between President Isaac Herzog and senior officials of ISEF, including founding President and Chairwoman Emerita, Ms. Nina Weiner, who has been working to better the lives of young people in the Israeli periphery since 1977.

As a special surprise, Ms. Weiner even showed President Herzog pictures from her work meetings with his late father.

The President was impressed by the many unique programs the foundation runs that help young people from Israel’s socio-geographical periphery break glass ceilings and integrate into senior positions and key roles in Israeli society.

It is through the vision of its founders, in addition to collaboration with academic institutions, donors, and partners in Israel and abroad, that ISEF continues to contribute greatly to the education and future of young people in Israeli society.
