ISEF’s very own Executive Director, Galit Caspi Cohen, was interviewed  on Israel Hayom ישראל היום about the ever-changing developments in the labor market and what that means for Israeli youth as they select courses of study.

Many of Israel’s youth have been taking “shortcuts” such as mini-courses to receive certificates to advance their efforts in joining the workforce. While students from more privileged backgrounds might be able to get away with it, those from underserved communities do not have the same opportunities and would find themselves falling behind.

Galit shares how nothing can replace an academic education as it gives you not only the knowledge you need for a specific career but tools to help you along the way and in life in general.
