Ester flew to Germany in February to promote her research in finding new energy sources that are “green” and non-polluting. As the global population increases so does the energy consumption which will eventually lead to the depletion of resources. Ester’s research can very well save planet earth!

Her research deals with finding the process and conditions in restricting the creation of helium bubbles in various materials as a result of being fused in an incinerator by transplanting nitrogen ions. The study is led by Prof. Roni Shenk from the Ben-Gurion University and the Pazy Foundation. During their stay in Germany, a collaboration was organized with the HZDR Institute to conduct the transplant.

We are so proud of Ester’s achievements and can’t wait to hear more!
